Can Someone from the Home Building Industry Make it Online?
Working over the internet exposes me to different types of people, and after a year or so of doing this, I have seen a plethora of peeps from every industry try to break into the internet earning world. I was asked a question not long ago…. “Is the global financial crisis affecting your business negatively?”
My answer to that was simple, “Not at all”
You see, BEFORE the crisis, when most people still had very good jobs, most have had the “inkling” that money could be had via internet marketing. When the crisis hit and people started getting laid off, losing their primary sources of income, or could not find any work…. the concept of internet marketing and the idea that they could “earn online” became more tempting. And, you know what that means right?Having more people looking for internet professionals who could help them get started is always good for business.
Now, here’s a case of a home builder whose business suddenly plummeted when the details of the US financial crisis came about. How exactly does a former home builder earn online?
Here are some of my ideas:
1. He can understand the concept of website building quite well, if he can see the parallel between the two industries (home building and website building). A website and a house are not that different, really. The concepts of equity, market value, design and commercial value apply well enough.
2. He can write better reviews for topics that are not mainstream. Regardless of the crisis, people will still be looking for reviews about drills, spring plungers and other materials. The theory is that, if you know what it does, you can SELL it to those who don’t. In fact, the more specialized you are about a subject, the more potential you have to make it big here. You just have to think out of the box…
