Reselling Stuff: Mommy Sideline

Now that we have a new theme for this blog, let’s get right to business. This blog was my personal blog until I realized that there are so many Filipino moms around who want to learn how I am able to quit my job and earn from home, through the internet.

First comes the “why”.

Moms are good with a lot of things but they are only driven because they always have someone else to think about. Our kids. I’ve seen moms survive during crisis, and this time, it’s more serious than that. We see people losing jobs everywhere, and some college plan companies closing down. If we’re not careful, our kids will not have the education they deserve. Moms work so their kids can enjoy the good life. And, I am no different.

Now, for the “how”.

I used to think of my current freelancing job as my “sideline” something that I’d rather do than sell cosmetics to neighbors and office mates. Your probably see mom blogs around discussing anything from internet marketing, to fashion, to diet pills. How do they come up with these blog topics and why can’t they talk about other things? It’s probably because of their interests and the stuff they can talk all day about. If you don’t know yet mine’s dating and zodiac signs.

So, if you have this burning love for something and you can talk all day about it, you could probably resell it well. That’s the concept we are using here, and on my main blog. But on this blog, it’s more personal.
