AJ Can Sing the Alphabet Song
Ahuh. AJ can sing the ABC, which is awesome because he can’t pronounce some of the letters well. Somehow, when he’s singing he gets the sounds right, but he gets confused when it’s time to recite the letters individually. For example, the letter “H” is a huge source of confusion because we pronounce it differently and the examples provided don’t really carry the same “aayyytch” sound e.g. Hat, Ham, Happy.
Nevertheless, we are proud. And the whole house is not filled with Alphabets. He can’t pronounce “W” yet, but we’re getting there i.e. he says something that sounds like “bubble bubble” whenever he tries to pronounce this letter.
For our next family project, we are going to build an alphabet box, where we will design one big box with a collage of alphabet stickers and alphabet custom rubber stamps. I think it’s time for AJ to have his crafts set. He even knows how to put away his toys already!
Geez. If I only knew how much pride a child will bring me, I would’ve gotten pregnant sooner instead of looking for more artificial sources of pride.
