New to Toddler School: Did You Check the Furniture?

If it’s your toddler’s first day in school, I can only guess that you will have to be around just in case your son or daughter looks for you. It’s no secret that nothing you do at home will really prepare your kids for their first school experience. They will always be more than a bit overwhelmed at their new surroundings and the new people they need to get accustomed to fast.
I became interested in classroom furniture when AJ was just about to enter toddler school. I was planning on setting up a mini-classroom at home to get him used to the idea of sitting still for a few hours.
Fortunately, the school he goes to have invested a lot on their furniture, which are colorful, sturdy and child friendly. By child friendly, I mean the chairs should be comfortable and low enough to make it easier for shorter kids to sit down. They must also be lightweight for kids to move around if they feel like arranging chairs. AJ loved arranging the classroom chairs in school. The tables must be attractive and colorful enough for small children to really have fun learning.
