Do I Miss School?

I came across something interesting in one of the literary masterpieces (ahem, showbiz magazines) I read. It talks of movie stars going back to school, or celebrities wanting an education “just in case”. Not that I am a celebrity, but I suddenly missed school.

In retrospect, school wasn’t too bad.

Compared to the routine that I call “every day” nowadays, back then, each day was exciting, and full of mishaps or different stuff that needed to get done. Just thinking about assignments and stuff that I should do but procrastinate on all the time. I suddenly want to do that over.

But then again, this could only be for a while.

I may be feeling this way because of the end of the school year. The baby will be free for the summer and I’m thinking of travelling, if not for this blasted heat! I am not thinking of long distance moving though, as I am still content with the way things are now, where we are, and with cooling fans directed towards us so that we won’t have to kill ourselves walking outdoors when it’s 40 degrees out.

By the way, it rained today, and there’s a cold front because of the cloud seeding that the government is doing. They’re manipulating the clouds and the atmosphere over the Phils because there’s no rain. But the thing is, the rain they’re seeding for may not always fall where they want. it’s falling here, and this is hardly an “all rice fields” place, so I guess the clouds are still confused.
