Benefits of a Resort Birthday Party for Your Kids?
Being born to a family of party caterers, I have always experienced having parties at home, and just inviting the neighborhood kids as well as my classmates over to eat and have fun. However, now that I’m living away from my parents, I’ve often found it easier to have birthday parties outside the home, preferably in small resorts with pools, picnic cottages and grilling equipment.
First of all, I don’t have to worry about entertainment. When people go to resorts around here, they expect to swim, eat juicy fruits and grilled meat, and relax for a few hours. The only real issues are buying pool floats for the kids and wearing sunblock. Clean-up is a breeze too, as you’re not going to have to bring fancy cutlery or plates. You can go all biodegradable paper plates and simply bring a cooler full of drinks.
The only disadvantage is that you can’t invite as many guests as you want. The space is limited and the resort will probably charge per head. A resort birthday party is definitely not for kids who want to invite the whole neighborhood or the whole school. At most, you can limit the guest list to relatives who can pitch in with the food and the resort bills.
