Why I Like KPop and Why Artists Are Geeks Too
Kpop has become synonymous to listening to music or watching videos that you don’t really understand but love so much. But it’s more than that. It’s the fun, upbeat way the artists showcase themselves that really gets the crowd going. If you look at Korean artists, they’re extremely eager to please especially during concerts.
KPop became popular because of the way the songs are received. Sure, some mellow songs tug at the heart strings, but those that top the charts are the upbeat numbers that make anyone feel like he’s in a euro-club or something. I’ve heard mixes of songs by the same artists and marveled at how some of the technicians could use items like those on digitech to alter the songs according to what’s current.
Kpop drives home the point that language is no barrier for people to appreciate music. It’s also a challenge to the rest of the world to create more chart-worthy songs with the best beats.
