Inexpensive Additions Into Your Small Space
Owning or renting a condominium unit these days can be the most practical way to live. Some people get used to the lifestyle of being in a condominium because the alternative could mean an hour drive from their place of work in the morning and in the evening when they go home. Being in a condominium is not as scary as some think. If you can get over the fact that you’re several hundred meters above the ground, it can be quite enjoyable to live in a condo.
Now we get to the challenge of urban living in a small space. How can you maximize the space to make it seem like home? One thing you need to do is to maximize the space. Use furnishings that can double as decorative items. For instance your main room can have a decorative mirror that is also functional enough for you to use it as a real mirror (where you stand in front of when you put on make up). Surfaces can also be multipurpose. Your kitchen countertop can be the place where you eat breakfast.
If things can be placed on the wall, tack them up. Electric fans and televisions can be placed high up on the wall so that you don’t have to reserve wall space or floor space for them. Your bed can double as a sofa for easier access, especially if your room is a studio.
